It Takes Everyone

Lake Houston Gardeners are like the Avengers of the plant world—together, they make teamwork and leadership bloom!

Running the Lake Houston Gardeners has always been a team effort, so no one gets stuck with too much work. We don’t have a President or elected officers. Instead, we have a Co-ordinator who leads a group of awesome volunteers handling refreshments, membership, meeting setup, communications, and field trips.

Suzzanne Chapman is stepping in as Co-ordinator, taking over from Judy Brown. Judy is moving to the refreshments table with Diane Wolf’s help. Big thanks to Sydney Hamilton and the team for managing this for the past four years!

Louise Spindler, one of the club’s founders, is our Treasurer and Membership Co-ordinator. Barbara Adams did an amazing job in this role for 11 years—way to go, Barbara!

Anne Mullins, with Denton Langridge’s help, will keep rocking the website maintenance and media setup.

Denise Caruselle is back to organize field trips but is looking for a partner. Diana Caughell will take care of publicity.

Lots of other members chip in with setting up chairs and tables at meetings and help with cleanup. Others arrange speakers, bring refreshments, host gatherings, and keep the club lively and fun
